What is hair loss?
Hair loss is common in both men and women. It is not simply a hereditary. Hair loss is a big problem and can destroy self confidence and self esteem. Hair loss during adolescence can mean a person may be sick. It also occur if male or female hormones are out of balance. It is often a increased or sped up by stress, poor dieting, mineral deficiency, genetics, pregnancy or change of environment. If the thyroid gland is overactive or underactive, hair may fall out. Some medicines can cause hair loss. Medicines that can cause hair loss include blood thinners (also called anticoagulants), medicines used for gout, medicines used in chemotherapy to treat cancer, vitamin A (if too much is taken), birth control pills and antidepressants. Correcting the hormone imbalance may stop your hair loss.

ncy because high levels of certain hormones cause the body to keep hair that would normally fall out. Three months after delivering a child, a lot of women are experiencing hair loss because of the physiological impact of the pregnancy on the body. Illnesses and infections can put tremendous stress on the body, triggering the hair into a resting phase which result hair falls. Improper use of chemical hair treatments will even worsen hair shedding.
Hair loss in Men

Male-pattern baldness also knows as Androgenic Alopecia is the most common cause of hair loss in men. It is believed that this condition is caused by age, heredity, and the male hormone testosterone.
Don’t you know that hair loss in men can begin in early twenty’s, but for the majority of men, it is seen at the between the age of 30s and 40s.
According to studies, the main cause of hair loss in men is called DHT (Dihydrotestosterone). This is a combination of testosterone and androgen receptors mixed with sebum and dirt particles. Hair follicles may tend to shutdown when exposed to DHT because it is sensitive to the latter, thus, resulting in excessive hair falls.
Other causes of hair loss in men include infections in the scalp, nutritional deficiency, illness, stress and fatigue.
